Downtown terminal to shut for good on April 12

On March 31, 2025, the Burlington Transit customer service team will be officially operating from the Burlington GO Station. The customer service team will be centrally located on the main level of the Burlington GO Station, by the Fairview Street entrance. To support the transition, the downtown terminal will also remain open until April 12, 2025. After this date, the terminal building will be closed.

To ease the transition of this move for Downtown Burlington residents, transit staff will operate at City Hall after the terminal closes on April 12. This will include full PRESTO services and providing customers with transit information and trip planning. Hours and days are being finalized and will be available on the Burlington Transit website at https://www.burlington.ca/en/transit/transit.aspx.
